The Cosmos Live Edge begins with a dramatic slab — raw wood, ethically sourced from Indian hardwood forests (east Indian walnut, acacia, mango) — its natural contours filled with high-quality resin that catches light like still water. The first impression is of matter meeting immateriality.
Beneath this, a second story unfolds: the table rests on hand-carved marble Ling pillars arranged not at random but in alignment with the constellations — Orion, the Pleiades, the Southern Cross. Each arrangement is unique to the table it holds. The marble palette is KOY's most considered: pastels, ivory, ochre, and deep green sourced from across India, each column a different stone, each table a cosmography made solid.
