  • How do I purchase a product?

At Koy, we try to make your online shopping experience easy and quick. Add the products you choose to your carton by clicking ‘BUY’. You can checkout or review the items in your carton at any time by clicking on the shopping carton icon on the top right of the page. Adjust the quantities, add shipping details or any special requests and click ‘PAY’ to complete your order and payment details.

  • Do I need to make an account with Koy to place an order?

You are not required to make an account to place an order with us, however, you can manage your existing orders by creating one. We also suggest signing up to our mailing list to hear first about our latest news, products and special offers.

  • Can I cancel or amend my order?

You can change or cancel an order until the time it is dispatched. Please contact us if you wish to do so.

  • How do I know if a product is in stock?

We manage an inventory of most of our smaller products. If an item is not in stock, the product page will have ‘Currently out of stock’ displayed under the price tab. If you still wish to purchase this product, please contact us and we will notify you when the product is back in stock.
Larger furniture items are made to order and have a lead time for delivery specified in the individual product page. These items require a 50% prepayment for production. Once the item is shipped, based on the suggested timeline, the balance 50% will be charged to your credit card. Please note that these items are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

  • How do I return an item?

We only offer returns on goods that are delivered with a damage or defect. In such cases, please contact us directly with pictures and a description of the issue and we will assist you in replacing the product or offering a refund.

  • Do you have a retail shop?

Yes, we have a showroom and cafe in Pune. We host various pop-up events at our studio and other stores. We regularly participate in home shows and exhibitions around the world. To stay informed about our happenings sign up to our mailing list.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

At KOY, every piece of furniture is handcrafted and given the utmost attention to detail. The timber used for the production of our furniture is seasoned ensuring its durability.

Absolute No-no’s.

– Do not let spills sit on any surface. Immediately wipe the surface with a mildly damp cloth.

– Avoid harsh conditions like direct heat or air-conditioning and heating ducts for indoor furniture.

– Carefully place sharp objects on surfaces like glass, metal or wood to avoid scratches or dents.

– Only use fine cotton or extra soft cloths for dusting or cleaning.

 

To preserve the longevity of your furniture and household accessories, we advice the following steps towards its maintenance:

WOOD

For a natural oil finish, furniture we recommend cleaning the surface with a wrung out damp cloth preferably in microfiber.

Generally most woods require re-oiling after 3-6 months. Follow the instructions of re-oiling furniture according to the instruction label it comes with. Each wood varies in its maintenance.

For lacquer or painted finish use a damp cloth for removal of dirt or dust. For scratches we recommend blending them in with Bees wax. Follow instructions as per directions provided by product used.

METAL

Clean the surface for dust and grime with a soft cloth dampened in a mild detergent solution. Avoid abrasive products. We recommend that tarnished metals be professionally cleaned.

MARBLE

Marble being porous may stain if spills are left on the surface for long. We recommend cleaning the surface with a soft cloth dampened in a mild detergent solution.

FABRIC

Direct heat and sunlight can cause fading and changes in colour of fabric. To prevent fading and wear and tear of upholstery, periodic cleaning is essential.

Periodic vacuuming of fabric to remove dust and dirt is recommended. Spills and stains must be cleaned out immediately with a damp, white cloth. Avoid the usage of abrasive cleaners or scrubbing the upholstery. For tough stains we recommend professional services that do the required treatment.
